For over 50 years, the American Association for the Advancement of Science has brought science to the US government. Our world is increasingly technical and complex. That means our public policy is, too. The Science and Technology Fellowship Program embeds scientists with policy makers to enable smarter decision making. Only about half of the requests for fellows are able to be filled. We helped AAAS communicate why we need to close that gap.
